Architectural Historian
Dovetail is currently accepting applications for a full-time Architectural Historian in our Virginia office. Primary responsibilities of this position center on the day-to-day management and performance of small- to large-scale projects. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and well-organized, with strong analytical and communication skills. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Administrative Assistant
Dovetail is currently accepting applications for a part-time Administrative Assistant in our Virginia office. The Administrative Assistant provides provide day-to-day administrative support to Dovetail staff and works to present a welcoming atmosphere for Dovetail’s clients and partners. The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, and well-organized, with strong customer service and time management skills. Our office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the preferred schedule for this position would be 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday (30 hours per week), though this is open to negotiation; while we prefer a set schedule week-to-week, there is room for some flexibility. We anticipate a salary range of $14.00–$17.00 per hour for this position, dependent upon candidate qualifications and experience. Archaeology Division Manager
Dovetail Cultural Resource Group is currently accepting applications for a full-time Archaeology Division Manager in our Virginia Office. The Division Manager job consists of approximately 30 percent staff management and administration (assigning projects and scheduling field crews, timesheet review, approval and/or coordination of training, general quality control, staff performance management, hiring) and 70 percent project-based tasks, to include writing proposals and budgets, writing and/or editing technical reports, managing projects, performing fieldwork, analyzing data, and coordinating with clients, agencies and other Dovetail managers and staff. Archaeological Technicians

Dovetail Cultural Resource Group is currently accepting applications for Archaeological Technicians in either our Fredericksburg, Virginia or Wilmington, Delaware office. Primary responsibilities of this position include performing archaeological fieldwork and data entry. The ideal candidate should be able to lift at least 40 pounds, has education or experience in anthropology or archaeology, and possesses effective verbal and written communication skills.
